Our Easter Vigil at 9pm Saturday evening was well attended and very beautiful. We began by lighting the new Easter candle outdoors in front of the entrance, then moving indoors by candlelight. The service was joyful as we sang and rang bells.
Sunday morning we celebrated the resurrection with abundant flowers and music accompanied by a brass quintet. The choir offered the anthem, "Because He Lives". Hot cross buns, an Easter egg hunt, and good company were enjoyed after the service.
