St. Anselm's Anglican Church hosts two speaker series each year to connect and inspire. In October our distinguished 'Earth & Spirit' speakers discuss issues that matter to you and the ecological world we live in. Please add these do-not-miss events to your calendar and help us spread the word.

October 5 at 7:30pm   Rev. Dr. Carmen Lansdowne: Writing the Law in our hearts: Ecojustice & Faith
Carmen is Director of Operations for Ecojustice Canada, an ordained UCC Minister, a parent, an Aboriginal woman and also serves on the board of the Environmental Youth Alliance.
 
October 12 at 7:30pm  Elizabeth May: Elizabeth is Leader of the Federal Green Party and member of Parliament for Saanich - Gulf Islands.
 
October 19 at 7:30pm   Marc Lee: Searching for a Good, Green Life: Lessons from the Climate Justice Project
Marc is the Senior Economist with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives and former Vice-Chair of the Vancouver City Planning Commission.
 
October 26 at 7:30pm   Dr. Nigel Haggan: The Poetics of Partnership
Nigel has developed cooperative fisheries management programs with BC First Nations and has worked with the UBC Fisheries Centre.


Each speaker will respond to questions following their talk; the evening will conclude with a reception and social opportunity to chat with the speaker. 

All are invited, bring a friend- bring two!

It's not too early to RSVP. Admission by suggested donation of $20, with tax receipts available for donations over $20. All are welcome!
