Our annual salmon bbq was a roaring success, with a great turnout. Such wonderful community and outstanding food, featuring fresh BC salmon!
A St. Anselm's tradition, the event took place on Saturday, August 18 and featured the talents of our own chefs Kin and Dana. Kin is famous for his mouthwatering salmon and Dana served his popular beef sliders. A large crowd feasted on salmon, sliders, vegetable skewers, and corn-on-the-cob. Donations of a wide variety of salads and desserts were gratefully received.
A new iniative for this year was the option of purchasing a ticket to sponsor one of our "street friends" served by the Westside Anglicans Neighbourhood Ministry to the Homeless. More about the Neighbourhood Ministry.
Thanks to all who participated!
