On Sunday March 25 we marked the start of Holy Week with a special Palm Sunday service, reenacting the day when Jesus entered Jerusalem welcomed by people waving palms and shouting praises.

It was a bit chilly, but not raining, as we assembled outdoors at the western boundary of our property, where the forest is already being cleared for the new Block F development. Our palm fronds were blessed during the Liturgy of the Palms, and then we processed with festive abandon into the church singing the African hymn, "We are Marching in the Light of God".

During the service we read the Passion Gospel (Mark 14:1 to 15:47) and were invited to continue to pray with this reading during Holy Week.

Please check our Events page for a full listing of our Holy Week services and activities.
