We are offering services every day during Holy Week, with many different expressions of worship - from solemn and contemplative to joyfully exuberant. This is an important way to experience the power of our faith; it's as close as we can get to actually being there. We hope you will be blessed by attending.

Palm Sunday
Sunday, March 29
10:30 am - We commemorate the triumphal entrance of Christ into Jerusalem with a Palm Procession, followed by a reading of Christ's arrest and crucifixion, and communion.

5.30 pm - Our Anglicanism 101 class concludes, as we focus on the experience of death and resurrection as experienced on Good Friday and Easter Day. Please RSVP to the church office.

Monday, March 30
7.00 pm - Holy Communion. Quiet, meditative service.

Tuesday, March 31
6.30 pm – Bilingual Mandarin/English service with Communion.

Wednesday, April 1
7.00 pm - Holy Communion. Quiet, meditative service.

Maundy Thursday
Thursday, April 2
5:30 pm - Potluck and fellowship with communion around a meal
7:00 pm - A solemn service with the mutual washing of hands, commemorating Jesus washing his disciples’ feet at the Last Supper, then the cermonial stripping and washing of the altar symbolizing Jesus' burial. This will be followed by a brief Tenebrae Service. An ancient commemoration of Christ's burial. Our version involves reading psalms as candles are extinguished, and the startling suggestion of a tomb being broken open, leading us from darkness into light and joy.

Good Friday
Friday April 3
10:30 am - Shared service with U-Hill United Church at St. Anselm's. Our service includes special prayers for Good Friday, a sermon by Rev. Dr. Ed Searcy (who retires this summer), and communion.
3 pm - Messy Church & Family Stations of the Cross

Easter Eve
Saturday, April 4
9:30 pm - Easter Vigil. This service will begin with the lighting of the new fire near the Memorial Garden and carrying the new fire into the church, followed by a dramatic experience of the resurrection and the first Easter communion. One of the gems of Anglican Worship. Followed by a champagne reception.

Easter Sunday
Sunday, April 5
10:30 am - Joyful celebration of the resurrection. Stay for lunch and an Easter Egg Hunt after the service.
