The Anglican Church of Canada is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. Anglicans are an inclusive community incorporating liberal, conservative and evangelical interpretations of the faith. Individual Anglican congregations have their own character, and St. Anselm’s, being at UBC, is open to engaging with contemporary thought, inclusive practice, and direct service to the poor. Like most Anglican churches, we value the mystical tradition of silence as well as the community experience of worship and the physical embodiment of sacraments.
